Maha Al Qattan is the Chief People Officer at DP World, a role she has been in since March 2017. She is responsible for leading on all aspects of People across DP World's global trade portfolio, which consists of 50,000 people from 110 countries in six continents. She works closely with all business functions to ensure global and local People teams develop and implement smart, strategic and operational solutions, providing expertise in areas of culture, change management and executive coaching.

Prior to joining DP World, Maha worked at General Electric (GE) where she was the Regional HR Business Partner, covering Middle East and Africa. At GE she was responsible for developing a HR strategy and building the talent and leadership pipeline, while leading Alstom through GE’s biggest industrial acquisition. Before GE, Maha held various HR leadership roles at Nakheel and United Holdings, both based in Dubai.

Since joining DP World in 2017, Maha has disrupted the traditional HC practices and has implemented new dynamic ways of working, including a new global job architecture that drives a high performing culture at DP World. She has overseen the integration of the UAE’s largest free zone into the DP World portfolio, consisting of thousands of businesses from around the world.

Maha has a BBA in Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the USA, and a Masters in Industrial and Labour Relations from Cornell University in the USA. Maha is a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas. She strongly believes in using her skills and experience to drive excellence through people.
