Heavy snow in DP World Constanta - update 10.01.2017
Date: 10/01/2017
Dear Customers,
Please find below latest update on terminal activity.
Snow removal is almost complete for the full container yard (again this refers to access to the stacks not within the stacks) and partially on the empty container yard. Main quay side is also cleared up to 90%. We are still focusing on deicing all equipment and completing snow removal. Latest information in discussion with authorities is that starting 14:00 today, port will be closed due to heavy wind. Under these circumstances and cumulated with the yellow code for snow and orange code for blizzard in the same timeframe, it is difficult to assess the outcome in terms of maintaining the initial estimation for resuming operations on Thursday AM.
We will keep you well informed on developments,
