CleanUp Beach 2021

On September 6th 2021, DP World Constanta together with the NGO Mare Nostrum organized an activity to clean the coastal area from 2 Mai-Vama Veche. This area is declared a nature reserve, 30 people participated in this activity, including children. Following the event, 98 kilograms of waste were collected from the nature reserve area.

The initiative is part of our sustainability strategy "Our World, Our Future", which gives us a more accurate knowledge of the amount and type of waste in our local environment and a greater awareness of the causes and consequences of marine litter. Removing plastics and debris that kill marine life or are toxic to marine ecosystems also helps to improving these environments.
