Weekly highlights

From the moment we opened our doors of the DP World Flow Pavilion we have welcomed visitors from all over the world for a packed agenda of events.

Week 1

An inspiring first week at Expo 2020 Dubai saw over 17,000 visitors experience our Flow Pavilion. From welcoming our first government delegations to announcing our partnership with UPS and Arrival to committing our resources to combat the illegal wildlife trade, the DP World Flow Pavilion’s journey has only just begun.

Week 2

Week two at Expo 2020 Dubai was action-packed. Amongst others we had the privilege of hosting Macky Sall, President of Senegal, committed to long-term investment in Africa with CDC Group, and moved closer to a carbon neutral future with MAN Energy Solutions.

Week 3

Another great week at Expo 2020 Dubai with over 127,000 visitors to the DP World Flow Pavilion. We hosted government delegations from no less than eight countries, welcomed students from across the UAE, and even had world-famous artist Akon join us for a tour. Watch our week 3 highlights here.

Week 4

From welcoming Dubai Police HQ, as well as government delegations from Egypt to the Maldives, we can’t wait to host more visitors from across the world.

Week 5

What does the next generation of mobility and logistics look like? We answered this and more during Week 5 at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Our highlights included Hypermotion Dubai, raising the national flag to celebrate UAE Flag Day, and adding to the over 20 government delegations that have experienced the DP World Flow Pavilion.

Week 6

Week 6 at Expo 2020 Dubai was all about powering the future. We announced a ground-breaking partnership signalling a new era for golf with the DP World Tour and explored the future of digital technology and smart trade with CARGOES. Join us on the journey at the DP World Flow Pavilion.

Week 7

Celebration was at the heart of week 7 at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The countdown to UAE National Day commenced as we welcomed the Dubai Police HQ Academy, hosted a graduation ceremony for the Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II), and enjoyed performances from our Flow Makers.

Week 8

This week at Expo 2020 Dubai our Flow Pavilion shone brightly in blue to support World Childrens Day in collaboration with UNICEF, golf got another boost with a visit from our Global Ambassador Ian Poulter and we congratulated 63 colleagues who have been part of our family for five to 30 years.

Week 9

This week at Expo 2020 Dubai we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the founding of the UAE at our Flow Pavilion, turned ideas into realities with the UPS and DP World Smart Logistics Challenge, and showcased sustainable opportunities as we welcomed the President of Suriname. Week 10

This week at Expo 2020 Dubai HH Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Patron of Hope, launched The Maiden Factor's next stage at Dubai’s Port Rashid; we launched the Future Infrastructure Challenge in association with Virgin Hyperloop, and we signed an agreement to boost international trade with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade. Week 11

This week at Expo 2020 Dubai we hosted the Global Business Coalition for Education at the RewirED Summit 2021, our employees starred in a one-of-a-kind dance performance and our Chairman and CEO welcomed Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Chemicals and Fertilisers, India.

Week 17

This week at Expo 2020 Dubai the Dubai International Project Management Forum, we co-hosted the Dubai International Project Management Forum, with a key speech given by our Chairman and CEO Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem. We also welcomed H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, to our Flow Pavilion, as well as delegations from Morocco, Cambodia, Panama, Bangladesh and Andor.

Week 18

This week Expo 2020 Dubai we welcomed the Commissioner General of Canada to our Flow Pavilion and showcased the world of logistics to Emirati students with our careers talk.

Week 19

This week at Expo 2020 Dubai conservation took centre stage. Prince William joined us for the launch of United For Wildlife MENA Chapter and our Innovation Showcase where two Earthshot Prize finalists won £500K funding. Finally we hosted an evening with Tusk in aid of protecting lions in their natural habitat.
