Rail transport network

The Terminal has rail transport within its operations yard. Similar to the road transport network, Tarragona is the crossing point between the coastal railway line (France-Barcelona-Castellón-Valencia-Alicante) and the line that goes inland towards the Iberian Peninsula (Tarragona-Lleida-Zaragoza-Madrid and other destinations).

The Port of Tarragona main entrance can be reached from the N-340 and the A-7 motorway via a 2km private access road.

DP WORLD Tarragona is located near to this direct port access which can be reached by a 4-lane freeway.
