Our sustainability strategy, Our World, Our Future, is supported globally, but has a deliberately local focus. In our pursuit of a sustainable future, we have also explored how we can contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Added value in every part of the value chain.

Our activities have an impact on the environment and the communities in which we operate. As an integral part of the supply chain, we must do more than simply reducing our own impact and improving our business processes. To build a sustainable future, we actively seek dialogue with our stakeholders, both waterside and landside. Thinking ahead and proactively responding to challenges in society drives us to make changes in various parts of our value chain.

DP World's “Our World, Our Future” strategy is divided into two parts in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Our World: seven priorities

“Our World” is about the efforts we are making today to operate as a responsible company in seven priority areas: safety, security, well-being, ethics, community involvement, climate change, and human development. We aim to achieve this by means of ambitious targets for 2030.

Our Future: three legacies

“Our Future” looks beyond our company to the legacy we will leave in our industry and society. We focus on three areas where we can make a positive difference for future generations: education, women, and oceans. We have also set targets for 2030 in these areas.
