DP WORLD AUSTRALIA SECURES NEW AUSTRALIA NOUMEA NEW ZEALAND SHUTTLE (ANZ SHUTTLE) SERVICE

Brisbane, 11 August, 2022: DP World Australia are pleased to have welcomed the first sailing of the new ANZ Shuttle in Brisbane this week. Having secured ANL’s new Trans Tasman shipping service, the Australia Noumea New Zealand Shuttle will call on Brisbane, Noumea and Tauranga on a 14 day rotation.

Commencing its voyage with the arrival of the Tacoma Trader at DP World Brisbane, the ANZ Shuttle will operate on a 1100 TEU vessel to provide additional capacity to service the increasing demand of imports and exports of the Australian and New Zealand market and assist with the transshipment of freight to Tauranga and Noumea.

DP World continues to work closely with ANL to enhance its networks and provide service capability for the efficient movement of cargo for importers and exporters. Our Brisbane Terminal has continued to perform strongly with consistent operational performance and is on track for continued growth in 2022. DP World Brisbane is strategically placed to assist with the increasing demand of the ANZ market and we continue to invest in our Brisbane operations to maximise terminal capacity and optimise productivity further, to continue to service the Australian supply chain.

Ben Hanley, General Manager of Operations in DP World Brisbane said, "We are proud to have been selected by ANL to support the new ANZ Shuttle service in Brisbane. As DP World’s only semi-automated facility in Australia, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions and enhancing supply chain efficiencies through the latest technology".

Congratulations to the team at ANL on this inaugural voyage and we look forward to strengthening our partnership with ANL further and enhancing our services within the region.
